I had an old 28" chain that I got with a saw, previous owner filed the rakers down way too low and the cutters were sharpened all wonky. Yesterday, I evened everything out on the grinder. Still had very aggressive rakers, so I decided to throw it on 038 Mag II and see what a torquey saw would do with it. Needless to say, I was pretty impressed. The saw just ripped right through the green pine I was cutting, self feeding, threw chunks for chips, and threw 'em far. Old Oregon 72. 25 top plate, 60 tilt, 10 down.
