Ugly protruding rivet heads, I see them catching fibers and creating drag.

I could use some help getting this to self feed on 42” 3120.

To me, the wheel never touched the corner of the tooth, and I agree with @Wilhelm, you went low into the gullet, going too low into the gullet hurts performance, makes the chain more grabby and robs power to do so

I have some Stihl RM that seems to cut well and hold up well, I will try to emulate those angles as well. Also the Stihl guide for angles.

I probably should have put my .404 full chis skip loop on, but the wood was very dirty. You can see on the stump I had chip clearing problems.

I got Stihl RM from Sondre, I think I made some test cuts - I do not recall whether I liked it or not.

I have some small to medium diameter but muddy logs to buck at my neighbors.
I am uncertain whether I want to bother try semi chisel or just whip out the Stihl RD3 carbide loop.
I am seriously leaning toward CARBIDE! ;)
My free time is too limited and valuable right now.

Free hand ground HSS-Co 17.0mm drill bit.
In the chainsaw chain world this would be considered a mean full chisel square grind.

Shallow 140ish° angle, cross cut center, extreme "shoulder" back cut - makes one mean drill bit You don't want to use drilling free hand!

RM should cut pretty well. The side radius is so small it’s not far from full chisel

Same drill bit "detuned" to be less aggressive.
Kinda like a semi chisel/square ground chainsaw chain hybrid.
I picked this mod up from WiDia solid carbide drill bits I had the pleasure to test run, IIRC they advertise this grind like "4 dimensional" or "4 corner" cutting edge - I'd have to look it up to be certain.
