I took another grind at my Stihl Rapid Duro 3, I got a little more hook on the cutters.Tried the chain yesterday.
It cuts but doesn't self feed, it DOES need more hook!
I don't want the carbide chain to be too aggressive, although moderate self feeding is desired.Definately looks better, probably going to have to drop the rakers to get it to bite down and self feed good
That looks like it should cut better than newStihl Rapid Duro 3 carbide tipped, ground by me, I utilize the thinner wheel to get a more pronounced C shape of the cutter.

It’s actually not that hard , some practice and keeping ur file in correct angles it comes relatively quickly you’ll get it .@Squareground3691 very nice, I am trying to strive for that result myself.

Looks like 3/4” pitch, 0.122 gauge, chipper style, harvester chain, from the photo and what I see on line.
