Just put a tank of fuel though 592 I put back together after being run for around 2 hours, then smashed. Owner did not want to repair and said keep it, I do not want to look at it. Could not leave it alone, so ordered new top handle, clutch cover, fuel tank, had case repaired, cut new gaskets, beat muffler out and opened stock outlet. Here are my thoughts on it, cold started on 4 pulls, hot starts on one, only running 24" bar (so have to lean into it hard to slow it down), but am a light weight at 230. Have a 572,550mk2 and ported 372. This saw is smooth with ample nuts. Have no need for a saw this large, but when bucking I don't see where weight is a huge concern. Offered it back to owner for cost of parts, he said keep it or sell it, don't want it back, period. Here is tree I cut, used 550 to do small branches. To each his own, have rebuilt and run several 394, 395 saws, I would take a 592 if not milling. Oh, with a 24" bar this saw likes to 4 stroke with any reduced pressure.View attachment 341826 View attachment 341827

It’s a Tsumura Light Bar Black Edition. I believe the husky ones made by Tsumura as well, however, that black edition is ridiculously light for a 36” bar. It feels the same weight as the 24”. I think on paper it’s the same weight as the husky light 28” but I’m going to weigh it against the 24” and see.

Thanks for sharing. Now if we could preforme the update at home, that would be something.
I don't know how long I'll be able to use my MDG1. Version 2.0 is out and it is only accessible through the dealer portal. It is my understanding that it will need a dealer log in to use. I'm trying to get an answers if the version I have will continue to be supported. As for having the Auto Tune CST It's one of the reasons I still work two days a week at the tree service. They are a Husky dealer.

This falls under the Right to Repair lawsuits I think. It's such a small market in the grand scheme of things, I don't see it getting any traction.

Now all of are 555s wont idle, they run fine just won't sit there and idle for 1 minute. Kinda PITA restarting a saw 10 times cutting little stuff.
I ordered new ignitions for the 555s and I'm sure they'll be fixed ,but not by me ,I don't have the software.

One of the field resets discussed here: the saws need to accumulate anywhere from three to five minutes of idling.

My 562 did not hold an idle after winter storage: had to have her in fast idle, after about a minute, back to idle, doing wonky donky stuff, and after about the 3-5 minute mark all has stabilized.

I did have some one to two cut jobs, just let the saw idle in between, all is good on mine.

Long prep jobs with minimal cutting should accumulate enough idle time for the saw to self-correct if you don't want her idling.

So let it fast idle? 3-5?

View attachment 340424 View attachment 340423 View attachment 340422 592xp had for almost 4 months now no issues, ergonomics are very good , power and acceleration top notch View attachment 340421 it’s not a torque monster , but it will get the job done in a hurry, very happy with its performance so far running a 28” bar seems like a perfect balance for it , did a muffler mod on it from WCS power port made some gain on the top end and runs cooler ,

I liked your idea on the muffler so I did the same. I had used rivnuts but they didn’t hold so ended up brazing it on. Nice sound off it.

Finished porting it so will get some testing done.
