You running full comp or skip tooth chain ?

Full comp.

Yeah I think I got the last two of those bars in the U.K. One’s going with this saw and I’m keeping the other. It doesn’t feel like a 36” bar on the saw.

@Crocky28 very nice! This was a self port job?

Thanks. Yes I ported it for customer. I had bought the saw to port it and sell. I’ve been trying to get one for ages to have a play with it. Ive now got another coming that I’m keeping I think. I’m pretty impressed with it. Mostly because of the ergonomics. That saw with that bar just doesn’t feel like a big saw to use all day.

Do you know what their plans are in the future I assume they’re gonna make 63 gauges with them bars. And do you know the weight of the 36 inch bar

Not too sure what they’re bringing out. On the interweb it says it’s 1361g or 48oz. I’m going to weigh it to confirm, I’ve just not had a chance.

How's that digital angle finder work for you? I'm assuming you just zero it out at TDC? or do you still have to rotate the chuck/angle finder once positioned at TDC?

It’s really good. You just can’t move the powerhead much cause it can put it off. You need to zero it kinda like a normal wheel. I go to as close to TDC and zero it then put a piston stop in and turn it either way until it stops. Then you take the piston stop out and turn it back on the side it’s out the most until your splitting the difference. Then zero it again. If that makes sense. So if it’s out 6 degrees turn it back to 3 and zero it then piston stop in and check again. it’s a really accurate if you set it up right. Good thing is that it keeps the angle when it turns off. Also turns off automatically so doesn’t waste the battery.

I got it from dyno Joe Red97

I

I was doing some research on this bar today. As of right now they are pretty much brand new
There is that I could find them in was 58 gauge too. The price on it was really reasonable to. I believe I saw it for like $130. ?
Very good price!

So let it fast idle? 3-5?

Fast idle was for the first 30s as the saw did not want to hold normal idle.

Then it stabilized, I had about a cut a minute, long idle times, she eventually stabilized.

Some say give it 3min idle and AT will reset to new idle parameters.

Different people have different outlook on this, you can try different approaches and settle on what works bets for you.
