I have had a 592 since 3/2022, first sold into au, luv this saw its ergonomics are the best, i dont pick up the 660 anymore, i realise its not the same era but imo there is no comparison. Added full wrap kit straight up, then wcs three points. Great saw, good on fuel, good power, 36” duralight, skip…

I made my own foam pre filter covers before i even ran my saw, said direct to husky straight up the filter is way too small, still hassle them to make a decent size one to fill the space under that cover. Notoil is the go for cleaning filter foam, but also as we know one must oil the foam or it sucks the sawdust through to the main filter. Also removing the spark arrestor screen makes a difference but you Must put the screw back in place or the inner thread can vibrate off and fall into exhaust, a stationary saw at the wrong angle sees it in the pot!
True, its all about safety and what makes one happy mentally in the mind and physically with the saw in the hand, i agree, but i hate my 660 not a chip on the 592 in any way whatsoever
Added this kit new, actually i imported the kit before i bought the saw, was unknown downunder, duralites, wcs 3point dogs and now side cover. Good bitta gear
