Lighter than what? 390?395? 585? A 592 is lighter than both the 390 and 395, not much lighter than a 390 but handles better than both
Meant as in being lighter than a 585, so what would the selling point be to a 585. Stumpshot suggested l, maybe it was the non auto tune crowdnI think he said.

585 is adjustable carb and 85cc. 592 is autotune and 92cc. I can’t imagine more than an ounce or 2 one way or the other between the 2. 592 seems to run better than 7 cc bigger than the 585

Awesome m, makes sense like Steve said for the carb guys and as u mentioned this. I haven't really hear much feedback or anyone running the 585. Was kinda hoping for me. Is seeming quite a few issues on the 592, glad they are being detected early in its development.

If I had to guess I’d say the issues are just about the same between the two but the 592 is just so much more popular. There’s more on the market so there are going to be more problems. Personally, I have only had one get sent back to me and that was a 585 that had a leaky purge bubble or hose

Thanks for the info. Still hoping people will share running experiences, or get 585s on the road to experience:)

Trying pulling a Mac 125 or 101B with out decomp , thoes 592 are lightweights .
I keep hearing that, but the 125's I've hauled over aren't too bad. Now my ported bgd 056 Mag II would lock up tight before I put dual pawls on it, and even after that if it didn't start in 10 pulls I'd have to take a break. It sucked the rope outta 2 recoils multiple times when I first put it together and left me, my brother, and my dad with wrenched shoulders that evening.

Yea , having both saws I know one is far less than the other, in comparison.

@Crocky28 Mark great catch.

Back to the Husky QC not catching this.

Another reason to have your saw looked over by a very reputable builder.

So this saw is now on its 3rd carb. First one was leaking fuel out the needle side and would run but like a bag of nails. 2nd one was leaking from that grove. Now on it’s 3rd carb and running sweet. That second carb took 3 months to get. The 3rd one’s out another saw.

Thanks Mike. I think they should’ve caught the first carb issue. The saw wouldn’t run straight out the box.

A couple of years ago I lined up 5 562s to port. 2 of them refused to run at all once they were reassembled. They had to have the firmware reinstalled before they would start.
