A couple of years ago I lined up 5 562s to port. 2 of them refused to run at all once they were reassembled. They had to have the firmware reinstalled before they would start.
Are Husqvarna meant to bench test these before they leave the factory? Or do you think they build them and hope for the best? 😂

They are all test fired from a remote gas tank but they aren’t run long enough to get the black moly assembly lube run out of them.

I don't think the run them off of fuel that actually travels through the carb. Instead I believe they fog fuel/air mix into the air filter horn.

Given their recent QC issues it would seem they run them off purple unicorn farts, fairy kisses, and wishbone wishes🙄

This bull_shit is nothing new for Husqvarna. But I thought they were doing better.

Randy, bottom line and reputation is the end game.

Bad QC takes away from the reputable builder who has to fiddle with a saw insted of moving to the next project.

I would be just as angry, especially when running a reputable modding business.

Starting to realize how important it is to utilize the wealth of knowledge and the few good apples here that stand behind their work.

Every penny well spent.

Thanks so much to everyone who responded. Certainly gives me some ideas. Hopefully it'll become as easy to restart hot as it was for Dominick when he had it. Great saw, just gotta spend some more time with it. Thanks again, Steve.
I don’t have any issues hot starting with or without decomp.
My 592 max pulls cold(in minus temps) is generally four. Hot and put down for a few minutes, one. When left for a while mostly two. Either way it’s one of if not the easiest saw I own to start regardless of engine size. Tune it right, 33:1, hi-oct, air-cooled two stroke oil, get some full chisel skip on it and cut wood👌

Always been a Husqvarna user, so if I switch to a Stihl. 462 or 400 to replace my lightly used 572? That 550 mk2 is staying and old ugly ported 372 is unsalable, too much money in oem parts. And it’s ugly to boot.

The 400 is my favorite Stihl.
