Hey fellow Mac enthusiasts!

Was wondering if there is anywhere to buy/ idea to make a block off plate for the exhaust and carb to get a vacuum pressure tests similar to my Stihl tools that block off the intake and exhaust. I have read a few things in the Mac threads about people making them. Was wondering if anyone sells them / guidance on making one. For a PM850, PM700 and PM 10-10s that I want to keep running forever. I also just like to collect tools I might use once a year 🤣

Been a minute since I did that on an old McCulloch but I believe I did it like you can on most modern saws. Make holes in a piece of 1/8 rubber . and bolt the muffler/carb down over it.

@cinci5

Check with member cinci5 here on OPE. He was making and selling them on eBay but does not have them listed currently.

Alternative is to cut a solid "gasket" from rubber (inner tube, etc.) and use the muffler and carburetor to seal the openings.
