Thanks, I'll try to tune it tomorrow and see how it does.Awesome idea Ronie!
No, but I'll take a pic in a minute.Any close ups of the linkage setup?
It turns out that the boot on the 61 is bad so I put it on my 670 and it works good. I'm going to take it back off and put it on the 61 after I put a new boot on it, the 670 needs a throttle lock. I don't think it an improvement but if your in a pinch and have a 390 carb it will work, you could even put it on a 272 if you plumed a vacuum line into the intake block..Awesome idea Ronie!
I've broke 2 rope's and a recoil on this
266xp
I'll see how long this am 272 recoil lasts.
I need to comp test it
It's a hyway 268 popup in the oem 266 cylinder
No base gasket
I only have 3-4 tanks on it
But it feels
strong for a stock saw.
I built it from spare parts
And the ugliest colored am clutch cover
I've seen.
And the previous owner ruined the topcover.
I have true blue line I'll try next
I've never broken it.
SameMy junk pile saws always end up being my favorites. There is just something about taking a saw that someone deemed junk, putting minimal money into it, and ending up with a decent running saw that really appeals to me.
I have some grey 66 top covers that would work, plus probably everything else!I just got a 266 project saw. Needs a top end and all the plastics and such. I have access to a 630 top cover set. Will this cover fit the 266 cases? Thanks in advance
Really? I’m curious as to where I can find some. I can’t find any of those old 2 coil style top covers. I’m hoping that jonsered one will fit otherwise I’ll be looking for oneI have some grey 66 top covers that would work, plus probably everything else!
