Larger cutter may hold up longer but will rob noticeably more power from the PH!

I don't much like brand new chains, they take too much bite, make a wide kerf.
1/4th to 1/2 worn is kinda my sweetspot.
After that the chains tend to cut a mildly too narrow kerf, but in cut chain speed goes up signifficantly so that is a plus.

Ah, untamed oldschool big girl!
I am missing out on the over 90cc department, I bet they are a hoot to run.

Kudos for running that beast and hopefully treating her well. :beer-toast1:

I'd like to try .404" full chisel at some point, on a short bar , 20-24", my PS-9010's should handle it well. ;)

.404" is hard to source here!
I can't even get 3/8" full skip full chisel (nor semi chisel) for my 24" & 36" bars. 😢

FFS, I can't get full chisel 3/8" LowProfile/Picco, Sondre sent me a couple loops for my tiny saws. :(

So I was spinning some more chain for the 28" bar which says it takes a 91 link. But I don't like odd links because they have an odd number of cutters and end up with two consecutive cutters and odd spacing. So I made 92 links.

Below is a comparison between the Stihl 91 link (yellow) chain that came with the es light bar and an oregon made with 92..

Check the adjuster and there is a little left for stretch on the stud.

Consequently I found Stihl made a 92 link and says it's for the 91 link 28" bar I have. wtf..
8 pin rim sprocket, you'll need that extra drive link.
