Quick throttle response I like. There are very few saws in this size class that have a nice, quick crack to the throttle. The 394 & 385 were pretty good in that regard if the carb was set for it. The 395... Not as much.

You do realise that people are going to contradict that statement now right? :) including possibly myself

That’s fine, you’re welcome to your opinion. They all do okay, but the 394 spooled up faster than the 395, or maybe I can’t tune a 395... Though I doubt it. It’s a lot of effort to spin up 135 drivers. The 395 has plenty of benefits over its contemporaries and competitors-that’s the reason I think it’s the best saw in the 90-100cc class on the market, and it and the 394 have had such a long, successful run. You won’t see me throwing my 42” Cannon bar on a 661 and going after big wood.

Having run and owned both 394, and 395, I cannot tell a difference between the two when muffler modded. Only 394 that really talked was one that had a ks jug on it, 1992 build date, with the heavier, 2mm larger crank in it. That saw was a 50inch bar puller

I'll add, that Husqvarna has a fuel injection system in the works, but I doubt it will be on the 592, though that would be awesome.

I thought Husqvarna was staying with a carb on all their saws?

The 592's are not injected. A few more details though, the stainless muffler is defiantly on them and larger dogs(than 372/390 style) that look to be plated silver'ish.

Another note about the throttle response, the guys are saying its really touchy and not in a good way, like everything or nothing. their complaints were when limbing, apparently it's hard to have the thing not bouncing off the limiter all the time.

A tick more of ignition timing and a muffler mod makes a heck of a difference in the throttle response. Also the 395 likes to be extremely rich on the low side for throttle response.

Once ported the dang things will nearly jump out of your hands.

Sounds like a winner to me. Rev-boost saws like the 550 would do that, and the 500i is similar, my kind of saw.
