If they make a 6100 with a large mount I'd buy one. 562 does that and it's not a 362 which is the other choice besides echo in that class. I'm not surprised at all to see the 6100 best the 562.

I hadnt thought about that. That 6000i used small mount too. Heck I sold them the 24" bar as I sold the saw it was for and got on trade with Jon.

But I like small mounts on these smaller saws myself. So I'm good to go.

If a husky I would want the 555 or 560 or the better looking sister jred 2260.

Just as I figured it would be. :p

Got to love stock hotrods that are hot out of the box and need no modding.
6000i impresses me the most of any 60cc.
I tested a bunch of them way back 60cc-65cc.

Yes agree with you there a fantastic saw never ever had too do anything to them too run too get them running strong because they already had the X factor

The next time I come across a 6000I I will do a video and see how the both compare

Say it ain't so! OMG the world has tilted on it's axis! I thought so when I watched the vid. I didn't feel like digging out a stopwatch at 2:30 AM.

When Corey lifted the backside of that saw in the air @5.10 on the video that's what sent shockwaves across Iowa I had too watch the middle part of the video 2-3 times too get a grasp of what was unfolding ha ha

Hello Keith yes that is 100% genuine comp Test on a 2015 saw
I didn't have a tester when the 1st 6100's came out but I agree with Ross the later 6100's are more lively than the earlier models

If your gauge is accurate...that is surprising...and impressive:). Just about all the Echo's I've tested out of the box are right around 150 psi. Lots of potential when it comes to mods on the Echo's, but I'm damned impressed with the 6100 in stock or ported form.

Waiting for all the excuses from the 562 elitist saw snob crowd to start pouring in. No way a budget priced saw can out cut a 562, crème de la crème race machine, right?...LOL. More likely to ruffle the saw snobs' feathers over on AS but my guess is you have just about totally silenced them with this excellent thread. Good job Corey.
I see Corey was using a lower budget bar and chain on that 562, he was standing more on his left foot, pushed down a little harder on that 6100, ran out of gas, etc, etc.:D Great video and thanks for your time. 6100 cut the fastest and I am a MM562xp chainsaw snob!:aaaaa:

193 to 215 stock, might have to purchase one of those 6100's.
A no-brainer to me. Forget the price, even. Bud who tried my stone-stock 6100: "That's badazz." And, tank capacities are BIG. With reduced fuel waste, from strato, it goes on, and on, and on. Energizer bunny thing.

Lately when Land Trust buds have some big bucking to do, even with their menagerie of Stihls, they get specific: "Bring your Dolmar." I oblige.

Part of what I like is a fully adjustable carb to my liking. Not some chip stepping in and screwing things up.

Same reason I am liking some of those NE T-2 stihls with their light weight and tunable carbs.

Staying old school as long as I can till they get it right and yes I owned 550 545 autotunes with no troubles.
