I agree but I only had an 18" and 24" in D009. And I know if I would of had the 24 on the 562 and it lost everyone would say that is why. So I gave it the advantage. Not that I think it makes a huge difference. I know the 6100 pulls a 24 just as well as the 20.Nice video Corey! Would like to see them all on same size chain, but beggars can't be choosers.
Wow, that baby is hot! All stock ehh?View attachment 36572
Just took this. 6100 5 pulls. Looks like 193 to me.
Just sharing info I have saved.
Inside tear down pics of 6100 when it first come out. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/dolmar/dolmar-6100/

I wonder what the differences were Ross? I noticed the same thing from the first one I did to the latest ones.
I know the intake is different.......but what else?

Maybe they changed the coil mount bracket to change the timing. Same coil, different location.I wonder what the differences were Ross? I noticed the same thing from the first one I did to the latest ones.

They dont say anything to me about sharing info there either. I'm not a competing site for $. I aint a money making site or charge folks to be a sponsor.
We are all sponsors for free
Plus we are geared more to repairs. Teaching new folks to do it themselves and learning ourselves on different models and repairing.
If your gauge is accurate...that is surprising...and impressive. Just about all the Echo's I've tested out of the box are right around 150 psi. Lots of potential when it comes to mods on the Echo's, but I'm damned impressed with the 6100 in stock or ported form.
Waiting for all the excuses from the 562 elitist saw snob crowd to start pouring in. No way a budget priced saw can out cut a 562, crème de la crème race machine, right?...LOL. More likely to ruffle the saw snob's feathers over on AS but my guess is you have just about totally silenced them with this excellent thread. Good job Corey.
I ran it across the gravel first to sharpen it up. Geeesh! As a 562 owner, my feather's aren't ruffled one bit. Why should they be, when Corey clearly had the chain on backwards on the 562?!?!
