I heard that early turtles had better timing and therefore make better runners.irrelevant because turtles are neither d shaped or hemi shaped....I think theyre more oval-ish. plus no decomp. plus elastostart
I disagree only to be disagreeingthis may or may not be true...I can not comment on that, ive never timed either turtle....but the fact is, turtles are neither d shaped or hemi shaped and are irrelevant to this conversation. the boss tried to derail this thread.
fair enough sir. fair enough....I like your style.I disagree only to be disagreeing
If I add a pic, will you remove it?Hmmmm D Jugs.
Hmmmm D Jugs.
I wonder if they come with a decomp valve?
If you do a little machine work to that jug and just raise exhaust they run really well with torque. I milled with mine with a 30" mill maxed out a lot.Old thread... yeah I know, but I'm all interested in building a hybrid.
I scored a D chamber 046 cylinder and it measures 105/119/75
I find I need lower exhaust and higher intake for the hardwood here in Australia where peak RPM is useless.
Will probably save it for a work saw and get something else to take the exhaust right up for a race saw hybrid build
This post neither endorses nor co-sponsors the use of D VS Round combustion chambers.
