High Quality Chainsaw Bars Husqvarna Toys Hockfire Saws

Stihl 046/460 D Jug. Are there benefits using it on a 460, or better using it on a Hybrid?

Maybe try 102/122/78.
Everyone likes different recipes with the hybrids. All a matter of porting style IMO. I like to keep my intake and exhaust durations close to equal and at least 20* of blowdown. .025-.030 off the FW key and a nice open muffler.

Those are my favorite numbers in 044/046/064 etc with about 180 comp.
Strong across the range in our nasty timber.

And an HD-11 carb!!!

Going to try and fit a WJ10A on mine.
The WJ6A on my 044 really gets it hauling hard

Tony, I know the WD-11 is the 044 Arctic carb, which has a richer jet, what are the 10A and 6A carbs?

Also, the HD-50 (461) carb worked very well on one of my ported 460s, but the other saws don't like it as much!

Do they flow more or are they jetted richer? It always amazes me that a 660 intake does not look any larger than a 440 intake.

I've heard several builders say they would prefer not to use D jugs, but the two 77 cc saw I kept (Hybrid + 460, both ported) have D jugs on em.
