Did a little painting on the back of my 272! Went from this...

Now I think I want to do the whole case! I used Rustoleum tractor and implement paint. I sprayed three light coats then baked it in front of the wood burner for a couple hours.

Well when I said I wanted to do the whole saw I was only half serious. Then I threw a couple logs in the woodburner and opened the vent. Now I'll sandblast the wrinkled paint off along with the rest of the case halves and either paint or powder coat it!

Had to counsel my wife that the call she received from the Sheriff's Department threatening her with arrest for failure to appear unless she paid money within 2 hours was a scam.

Welcome to the club. That's from using slow-ass drying oil based paint combined with inconsistent temps, like us northerners and our wood stoves. By the time I figured out what was causing it, I had already sprayed and refinished my 066 and 044 cases 3 times. I was so pissed

I made about two dozen cookies with the Dozer Dan 372XP just cuz it's so much fun....


Then, I cleaned up a bunch of blow downs on my farm roads (goat paths) Jeep trails. That is a job that will never end...... Perfect work for the nimble MS 200.

Spent my Summer painting chainsaw parts......All three days of it...

I shouldn't complain, better to cut in cool weather. My flight instructor was a Viet Nam Vet. He used to say "it's not hot until you can sleep outside, naked, with no covers". That would be hot!

I bought some fine nylon from the arts n crafts section of walmart and for the glue I use a medium CA hobby glue for aircraft gas oil and nitro resistant. Just did one up for my poulan too

Took the hoses off the lift cylinder of a Bobcat 873 5 times. Yep, one of THOSE days. Now I've got to go back to the hose fabricator for the third time in the morning. Got in about 30 minutes of run time and the rest of the day was failed efforts.

Wish I had a good 873. Those are a beast especially for snow removal

Got home at 3:30 am after my flight was delayed on 2 separate legs by medical emergencies. Got a whole 2 hours sleep and then went in to work. Finally now it's off to bed.

Pretty sure that 24 hr recommended dry time takes more than a half hour on the wood stove. I'm using Drf's method from now on. PPG in Ford Lt. Grey and a small brush

People in my area were getting calls like that too but from government about taxs. dam people have nothing better to do.
