Yeah, I ordered a few other bits from them for the 2100 but these switches did not come up in the listings for 2100 parts.

I just ordered 2 as well a couple other bits I needed.

Yeah, a while back I replaced the springs on my 066 clutch with hyway springs and I bought a couple spare.

One broke on the weekend and it was nice to have a spare to be able to change out and stop the chain spinning at idle

The dealer rang me today and said old mate decided he wanted more money and asked if I would pay more.
I had a think picturing damage to piston and cylinder and said no..... $100 it was!

I never got a call back.

I will ring tomorrow to see what the owner said.

Shame. You are probably the one bloke in the area that would give him better than scrap prices for it.

I am going to ring in the morning and find out what the go is.
I figured I had nothing to loose and would try my luck and standing fast, but to be honest if its gunna cost me another $50 its still worth it.

The only thing that shirts me is that I have half a roll of Oregon 3/8 .063 ripping chain here and all the damn husky bars are stupid .058

And secondly just buy a adapter (el cheapo the husky shop should have) to run a big stihl bar if you already have one. My 72" is a stihl mount. And the only stihl it is in danger of being run on is an 090 ;)

Large husky mount = HV mount

I must live among dinosaur huskies, as all my larger bars are .063

My adapted was so cheap it was free. Works fine, even if it is a flimsy piece of tat.

Mocked up the new V-Stack I got from @srcarr52 fitted on the larger 394 plastic intake runner. The intake runner is just a cheap Chinese one and fits perfect.

She is going to breath well now!

That's a 181/281/288 non HD filter neck. Not a 394, but I'm glad you like it.

Yes, remove that darn carb governor.

Large mount Husky's?? :)

All my Stihl stuff is 063. I snapped up a 22" GB husky mount bar I found on line for my 372 cause it was 3/8 .063

I did a bit of reading on the adapters and did not read much good about them.

I think I will just bite the bullet and go 404 on the 2100. It deserves to have 404 on it :)

http://www.gbforestry.com.au/store/...42-forest-king-pro-guide-bar---404-063-detail

The 2 bars I got from them of late haven't worked out on the drive count. 30" husky mount was needing an extra dl and the 56" Stihl mount needed 2 extra dl's [emoji37]

44" !! :eeeeek:

I struggle with the 090 and 56" bar lol need to put some muscle on [emoji13]

Ahhh yes I got my filter necks mixed up.
Correct, it is from a 288 and is much larger than the stock one.

I have ordered a K&N for it and also a carb rebuild kit.
I found one of the carb end plate screws was stripped so I tapped it out to 4mm. I might do all 4 of the screws actually so they are all the same.

I will try the spacer with the Stihl bar and see how it goes.

News on the 2101..... Its still looking good, will find out on Saturday when the owner visits the shop.
I told the guys in the shop I would go a bit higher if necessary but its a risk on my part. The good thing is that they have a ew sale hinging on him getting some money for the 2101 and are going to try and make it work for all 3 parties.

Old mate gets a new saw a bit cheaper, they get a new sale and i get the 2101 cheap.

These guys are enthusiasts and are keen to see if I can get the old girl running again.

I told them about the 2100cd and they are excited about me bringing it into the shop when its done
