I rang my local Stihl stop this morning and I was completely wrong on my guess at the OEM piston pricing

I got hit with one on my hand and knee and the lymph glands in my arm pit and crotch swelled up to where I could hardly walk. Six months later I could still feel where I had been hit when I went into cold water.

Edit: yep, just checked your link. When I was on an army cadet camp in high school, one of the other kids thought the nice big leaves on these would be perfect toilet paper. It didn't end well!

I really can't express how greatfull I am for the help and advice.

I am really excited about this build.
I am going to make one of the blocks like MM uses to hold the cylinder for a touch of work in a friends laythe

Does anyone have any comments on my question regarding bottle necks in the fuel line and filter or of the preferred carb to use?

I use a wj69 with a HD filter with the filter part cut out and a foam filter over it.

Just want to make sure I have all the bases covered.
It needs to be reliable, especially when one of those drop bears attack and you need to defend your self with the saw.
