That's a good question. My 044 served me well for years. Now I have a ms 460 And a372. Your in good hands with any of these 3. Its a toss up my favorite. I'm usually partial to husky. 372 and 044 are sweet great saws and capable of getting you through even big wood and jobs. Even lacking stump power they get it done. In 70c.c class only I probably wouldn't trade a 046mag of the last run, for anything. I've run Em all the 046mag was the baddest. I'm glad I have both and a ms460. The 372 won't leave again, one reason, when the wood and tops get to big for the top saw. My climber uses my 372, which virtually eliminates the need for a 20inch size saw class, because it's nearest that weight, but far stronger. A 372 for tree removals is a huge asset.
