No pic but i rebuilt a very nice husky 350 the plastic clamp had failed so i ground the plastic down and put a regular clamp 372.
i think on it after cleaning up the transfer and new piston kit new fuel lines kit etc.
Great for a 350 running saw
The customer took it to a dealer even though there was nothing wrong with it they charged him 275.00 for a new topend and intake setup .
I only charged 50.00 lol
I asked why he did that and he said it bothered him that i didn't put the plastic intake clamp back on :risas3:

Did you show him the technical service bulletin from 2008? Showing the need for repair of that clamp?

He said it didn't appear factory and he wouldn't be able to sell it
I just laughed
Wish i could have got the original topend and intake it had a new meteor and a caber.

Gotta have a bunch of those factory 350 metal clamps /intake setups on hand. The 350 is one of the most common saws on the planet ...and though you can use all kinds of different options to fix...in this case the factory option is the ticket....because of idiots like that guy.

Visited my local dealer guru and he said to use a strip of paper.
I went one better and used a 1/4" wide rubber band.

Worked good for the vision impaired shaky geezer.

Guy brought his mower in for a new set of blades, I guess he wanted me to know what kind of grass he cut so I would know which blades to put on because he brought a "sample" of his lawn in as well.

Nobody bothers to even make a attempt to clean down machines they bring in. I take my car in for a service ...I wash it so the mechanic can get on with the job ! Only showing some courtesy if you ask me .
