I made cookies!

43" bar on the 076. I was working back what was left of the tree that fell onto our house during hurricane Helene:

I worked it back to where it is hung up on the pecan that kept it from falling through the house. I guess the next step is to take it off of the stump and see what happens. The rest of it is in the neighbor's yard, so I made sure that they were OK with me taking it off of the stump.

Slacker all day. Watched the KOH off-road race :p
Started at 8am...only 2 finishers so far. Most attrition I've ever seen. The guys whose car literally broke in half...used ratchet straps, zippies, winch line and bubblegum to get it "fixed" enough to limp it back to the barn. I was expecting a helo...

Today I went back to my old college for the annual farm show.
This is what I found. :(
What a sad situation!!! The parking lot is empty because the college is on it's last legs. That pic is looking to the east. There is another dorm behind the ones shown. Those dorms used to house around 4000 students. Now they house ZERO.

In 2012 they imploded a dorm.

In 2017 they imploded another.

Spent a large part of Saturday in a lift trimming a couple dead limbs on one of my trees and taking down a tree for my neighbor. My neighbor and I were going to split the cost of the lift ($300). At the end of the day my neighbor gave me a check for $600!!!

not finished, but weekend project was moving junk & cleaning up at my parents. we had some leftover crusher run so I graded things off & extended the driveway from around the front of the pole barn. moving my log stash up to higher ground so I can split wood on dry land.

Oilseed processing plants (soybean, Canola/rapeseed, sunflower seed, etc.) use those frequently for conditioning (heating) the seed prior to processing, and as meal dryers at the end of the process. They are steam heated with bundles of steam tubes inside and rotary couplers to supply the steam and remove the condensate. Alignment of those wheels is pretty important for both wear, and to keep the rotating drum from walking uphill...

Been cleaning 2 359s and two 200t parts saws after disassembly. 200s are full tear downs and will need a fair amount of new parts to complete. One 359 is in fantastic shape so will get partially stripped , cleaned, mm and reassembled. The other has a lot of hard use judging by the piston wear so will get a piston kit, seals, cleaning, some mild porting, mm and back together. Both were runners.1000010724.jpg
