346 cylinder is $105. All the other huskies are under $200 pretty much. Not that they wouldn't sell but it would be hard to convince someone to spend more for a Taiwan or Chinese brand
In that case they would be better off with a 30$ aftermarket cylinder. I know alota my customers when I give them the choice of oem stihl price or aftermarket which do yall think they choose? And on top of that the average woodtick could care less about chainsaw performance.

I can tell u now for sure. If I tell a customer that a new oem cylinder and piston is 170$ or aftermarket is 30 to 40 for the el cheapo cylinder they wanna pay for aftermarket. With OEM coming down in price im not really sure keith ?

I build saws for people pretty regularly that don't whine about paying for OEM parts. You're just messing with the wrong folks Keith. lol
If I didnt offer aftermarket around these parts I would miss out on alota money I coulda made. I rebuilt a ms460 with oem parts bottom and top except the oem cylinder was good and the total job was 250. U talkin about a *b-wordin mad man!!!
Ya but thats all thats down here Randy. I see a few 044, 440, 026 on occassions to repair but mostly Poulans, small huskies, ms170, 180, 210, 250, 251. 290 farmboss and husky 455 ranchers and jonesered equals r popular here. Even logging outfits buy polesaws and TSC Jonsereds and such. U wont find for the most part around here anyone spending 1200 to 1400 on a 661c.
