If you're using OEM flywheel it's a little bit of work but can be done with a small file and holding the flywheel with the cooling fins facing twords you you need to file the left side of the fixed key of the flywheel.
I’m actually thinking about slotting the coil screw holes.

I don’t think that will work. The distance you need to move the coil is pretty big even to gain a few degrees. Cutting the key is the way to do it.

I put the flywheel in a vise with the key facing up. I mark how much I want to take off with an exacto knife and then use a needle file that fits easily through the hole. If you go a little deep its not an issue, just try to make the side of the key square to your mark.

I went half key on mine I think that's about as far as I would push it plus with a squish of 0.023 it got really good comparison I'm hoping I don't have the same carb problem that everyone else has a little to no high speed jet adjustment all tho I do have a backup carb just in case I'm ordering a full rap top handle then the saw will be going to work for a day with a 28" bar and chain now my question is I've always ran Stihl saws and always used there two cycle oil for mixing my fuel what do you guys use and prefer with the Husqvarna saws??

There was something I noticed when I started the saw and was going to share with you guys I think it's important and could save you money on wear and tear on bars and chains all those my 372 oils ok but I prefer it to be a little bit better it's tuff to tell by the pictures but there's a bottle neck I plan on hitting it with my small tip ber and give the ledge a nice taper to help promote more oil flow.IMG_20231021_202456.jpgIMG_20231021_202412.jpgIMG_20231021_202350.jpgIMG_20231021_202344.jpg
