As far as will it pull it ,yes .I've ran the same 48" hard nose that' s on the avatar picture using .404 full comp chisel on my 125's which are stock with 8 tooth rims .They don't have any problem with it .
That bar is an odd ball NOS McCulloch most likely made by Windser .It's got a 58 thou slot, hard nose of course .Mike Acres thought it might have been for a gear drive which I've been told the old 1/2" chipper it would have ran back in the day came in.063,.058 and believe it or not in 50 thou .I was just a kid at the very end of the gear drive era so I really would not know .

That thing looks like it might be a kart engine stuck inside a 250.I wonder where the oil tank went ?

You are correct sir! I remember seeing the oil tank cover off years ago and there wasn't any oil in it that's for sure. I don't think it has ever had a bar and chain mounted to it since the kart engine was installed.

I don't think you'll be able to get a 250 oil tank on it with that big azz carb sitting straight up it might do it with a sloper manifold if you could find one. Scuffed piston, might buff out might not .

I don't know how bad the piston is yet, but the big carb is defiantly going to be hard to work around.

Nope. Not even sure if this is a good deal or not?

Get it!! Lol This just sold for $2550View attachment 176891
If I buy it, it will just be to resell... I don’t really want the headache. Just thought I’d post it here for everyone to see. He sells saws on AS so I know he will usually ship. His username is sawsrusinc

If he won’t ship I could help out in that department.

I am good, I am only buying ones that fall into my lap! Lol have 3 125’s and a 797. They aren’t worth a ton if they are not proven good runner, parts are getting harder to find so if it’s not complete it can take some time to get the parts! eBay is getting some big money for them right now!
