McCulloch Super Pro 125c build thread

This will be my build thread on a 125c I got recently. It will be getting a full rebuild.

Got started by pulling the carb and wrap handle.

Next was the gas tank. Got lucky and the boot was nice and soft.

Next was the flywheel, clutch, and cylinder cover. To this point a pretty easy teardown.

After that was time for the oil tank and stuffer.

After that the crank came out with the points box.

At this point I discovered bad news. The plating is peeling around the exhaust port. It will be taking a trip to US Chrome.

I believe the piston will clean up and be fine. I have looked for a new one with no luck so far.

The Reed's and Reed plate should clean up good as well.

That's pretty much where I'm at right now. I would like to thank @Bigmac he has been a huge help with the process.

Yep I got new rings for it here. It's been a learning experience so far lol.

Lol just tore it down yesterday. I'm going to look for a new piston for a few more days before I send the block out for plating. When it's getting plated I will clean the rest of the parts with the down time.
