I'm pretty happy that the thread has had lots of good input. I'm getting pretty excited as well to get it running. I should have everything ready by the time the motor is done.

It is easy enough to make your own rivets, just cut a short length of 3/16" diameter steel rod and peen the ends in the bar.

No, that one is staying as is. The kart one is all painted, just waiting on some nos or great condition parts to finish it! Need some nice wrap bars and an air filter along with a clutch drum, but that’s available, it’s just hard to find the bearing so you have to make sure you get one with the bearing. And a cp125 sticker kit, I will start a build thread soon, but won’t be able to finish until I can track down those parts!

No, it’s 125 only! The 797 style is flat, the 125 has a dome-ish profile built in

I dunno, I really, REALLY, like a 50" & 125. Thats a pretty sweet working length & balance for a long bar worksaw.
