The handle is way too crazy wide, I suspect to reduce warranty claims from breaking with low quality wood, but I found one with decent grain and it could be narrowed and shortened into a 'banger. 4.5lb.

Thanks. It's advertised as a camp/throwing hatchet. It has a hardened poll for driving tent stakes and such but also meets the required specifications for a throwing axe. I bought it just to try my luck at throwing.

A Kelly tool is the best demo tool out there. Next is the Chicago Patrol Bar, it’s just a Kelly tool wirh a big, heavy striking face opposite the adze. Halligan is right behind that.

That is an 8lb and I had to give it all the beans. I’m pretty sure that tub would laugh at a bar unless the Chicago had a heavy head. But they would all vibe the crap out of you. Maybe a heavy digging bar…
