It sounds to me it needs a muffler mod an 8 pin sprocket and rackers touched. Seemed he was pushing on it to cut and it wasn't self feeding

Too jerky jerky on the trigger and in a hurry. The saw sounds pretty great though when he steadies up.

@timberjack90 that is what I was thinking, @ 2:11 you can see the saw dust on the boots, either the chain hit something or is too dull, I would expect better chips from an ash tree.

@3:01 to 3:04 mark you can see what looks like a stock chain with that small factory gullett and stock rakers.

In the early days of my cutting journey, I would overcompensate a dull chain by pushing on it without just letting the chain feed itself. You can see on some of the notches the operator is pushing and flexing the bar which can easily stall.

Over all great sounding saw, can't wait to see where the builders here can push it.

What size bar came on it Dan?

24" on the 592XP and 28" on the 585...both appear to be well used X-Cut chains.

I'm thinking 30" and 36" bars should be a better fit. I'll see what I can come up with in D009 or I'll spin up a chain for my Stihl bars.

Cut those purge bulbs out
And reroute the line's
See if they will function without
Them
Real saws don't have bulbs.
