It changes depending on the wood and how it's been sharpened but I have seen full chisel drop off 10-15% in a tank of fuel. It happens gradually, it still cuts well, just not as fast as it did intially.I will be giving these a try once my old loops are done.
But to be really honest, once I started touching up after each tank, I am amazed at how much tooth degradation happens in clean hard/soft wood after a tank. That applies to all the major brands.

File plates arrived today. They look to be heavy duty and nicely made. Interesting note..the C33 rakers came in@.025" and they had grinder marks from being set. The C83 rakers were high@.020" and were not touched up. File time.They work well , I’ve been using them for awhile, with other brands , WCS has some good stuff, Gordy a good dude to .
