That old ford accelerates so hard, the mud flaps slid right to the back bumper! Seriously, that is a beautiful truck! Most of those trucks became flatbeds up here because the box rusted apart at the seam. I think toyota bought that patent and used it to good effect years later.

First twenty odd years of its life it pulled a camper for its owner and had big truck style mud flaps there to keep the camper clean, so I just replaced them with something a little smaller.

You guys seem to think those exhaust and blow down is the wholly grail to make a strong 1122. My saws are strong and never touched inside. The 66 has some snap! I timed many already but not mine. AM was all over the map like usual. If I had to guess my numbers, 96-7/120/76 it lacks intake at higher R's with shorter bars. It will pull some mean chain in dead anything stumps. Hedge, Locust, Walnut and white oak crotches. Square LGX72 with 40 on the drags in 91dl full comp 8 pin.

Never had 404 on them but I hope to soon. Found a GB40HN1.6
Just made a loop of 114dl for the fat nose 36 to try out milling.

My 1122 are runners stock. I spare top. All oe
Should I time all muh jugs before letting any go?

You guys are doing a great job on these saws!
edit: I know get video.
It's not the holy grail, that's why I'm doin a pop up along with cutting the squish. There are more factors that make a saw run than just numbers

I've run maybe 2 good stock ones out of 20 or more. The rest a 70cc saw was just as strong. The latest ones were the worst.

I've run three good stock ones and I owed two of them. Most I see run or try out stock are pigs in hardwood.

So is my daily driver which has 370,000 miles on it.

Going to time them and get the 40 on and see waz up. I do match all my gaskets and run the DP 66 muffler cover on a large hole 660 can. No timing advance on my part. I will check that setting also. I will need to put in a hd control bolt for the longer bars. Jugs have never been removed to my knowledge.

What is the standard ignition timing on a factory 660?

My truck is old enough to collect a pension. Never left me hanging anywhere in twenty five years I've owned it, always got you home if even if trouble was brewing within. In the post CB and pre cell phone era, Chevy's left me walking, that left an impression on me that has lasted to this day.
