I'll say what's already been said...

Al's attention to details is amazing. The most appropriate word I can muster to describe this saw is "meticulous." I keep turning the saw over and looking under covers and such to see the neatest and cleanest work you can imagine.

I'm absolutely HONORED to own this saw. I'll be saving every spare penny that comes along to make sure I can pay Al to build an 026 and perhaps an 036 to match this beauty.

Thank you again Al. You're a great dude with serious talent. I hope I can include you in my small circle of friends into the future.

Roller catch?

Not my work.

You may wanna tack a washer behind that dawg. Not sure I'd trust that.

If you wanna mail me the outer dawg I'll do it for you.

You read my mind. I discovered we have a welding shop right up the street. I'm gonna take the dawg and a certain 361 muffler up there as soon as possible.

Probably cheaper to mail me the outer Dawg and the washer.

Just use the saw with the inner dawg and the chain catch I had installed.

I'll do the muff as well.

Price would be shipping and nothing more. Guy down the block is gonna charge you good. Most charge $75 to turn a tig welder on.

I don't know how I missed these responses...

Well keeping track of this entire thread from the start, this is one I cannot wait to see and hear a video.....

She's torquey and mean sounding! I took a short start/rev video last night but I'm currently having an issue with YouTube.

Did you text these pics to strap-on to show him what a ported saw looks like?

I haven't yet. Probably should lol.

Point is, I know you don't expect it for nothing.

Welding shops get people walking in nearly every day asking for one or two small welds.

They will likely Mig it. But they ain't doing it for $10.

I could be wrong.

Good looking saw, btw.

You know I appreciate your help and advice. I'm sure I can find a small box laying around here :)
