Can anyone honestly say any new truck brand is worth over $50,000? A lot of guys around here lease. Neighbor has an 07 Dirty Max with over 500,000 miles and he works the crap out of it. Does underground boring out West, pulling over weight loads a lot. He may have got his moneys worth.

My Cummins isn't new and I didn't buy it new. But I did buy it as a clean, one owner, low miles, cream puff.

I have a Chevrolet, a couple of Mopars, some Fords, a Ford Tractor, two IH Tractors, and a Nissan mini ex. I am not brand loyal at all.

And as an FYI my Cummins cost more than all of my others COMBINED!!! Most were (or still are) projects that I got for a song and a dance.

That Duramax is just getting broken in @Duce. Lol
Ask that guy what he recommends.
He wants to buy my 06 Duramax with 196,000 on it. Truck has not been totally trouble free, but a lot better than my 04 Ford F350. At 65,000 miles Ford offered to extend warranty to another 100,000 if I would keep and stop calling. It was only at dealership 14 times, little over 3 months and wanted to lemon law it. Said why would I do that, have a truck with 165,000 miles and still have a POS.

Jug is on the setup shortblock.

I'm thinking about 98 on the exhaust, and going to have to do upper transferr work in addition to epoxying the intake to keep it 82-83

A popup isn't looking to good now, whatever I gain from spinning the base, the popup would just take it away. I'd really like to lighten the piston with a bunch of material taken away, a popup, but timing is going to trump weight here

You'll have to cut the base about .090" to hit that exhaust number. Uppers will be huge by the time you get to a decent blowdown number.

Those numbers suck to start with.
I have a used, half wore out jug if you want to use it......
Too soon?
Too soon ??? NO WAY Deeter, reality can lump a guy upside his head sometimes!

Thats a mighty nice offer Deets ! You Sir are a true gentleman !!!

@sawmikaze has a decision to make.
I'll send the cabbage to the guy who paid for the cylinder if you wish Ryan, and we can use a better timed cylinder, but used, for your saw.

I'ts your saw Ryan, what say you ?

My truck is old enough to collect a pension. Never left me hanging anywhere in twenty five years I've owned it, always got you home if even if trouble was brewing within. In the post CB and pre cell phone era, Chevy's left me walking, that left an impression on me that has lasted to this day.

I had one of those and like a fool sold it to a guy that kept bugging me about it. 1972 F250 big block 4 speed with the divorced transfer case. It had some rust but was a great farm/work truck.

I was just messing with ya, I would gladly do it but the numbers in this jug isn't much better.

94-119-80

I'd just stick with the new jug if it was me. They can run real strong at 96 on ex.

That old ford accelerates so hard, the mud flaps slid right to the back bumper! Seriously, that is a beautiful truck! Most of those trucks became flatbeds up here because the box rusted apart at the seam. I think toyota bought that patent and used it to good effect years later.

You guys seem to think those exhaust and blow down is the wholly grail to make a strong 1122. My saws are strong and never touched inside. The 66 has some snap! I timed many already but not mine. AM was all over the map like usual. If I had to guess my numbers, 96-7/120/76 it lacks intake at higher R's with shorter bars. It will pull some mean chain in dead anything stumps. Hedge, Locust, Walnut and white oak crotches. Square LGX72 with 40 on the drags in 91dl full comp 8 pin.

Never had 404 on them but I hope to soon. Found a GB40HN1.6
Just made a loop of 114dl for the fat nose 36 to try out milling.

My 1122 are runners stock. I spare top. All oe
Should I time all muh jugs before letting any go?

You guys are doing a great job on these saws!
edit: I know get video.
