Good or bad?
Makes no difference really, I will be selling it once done.
I got it together and the effen thing would not go.
lots of spark, but no matter what I do with the carb screws, it floods, and I am talking 6 pulls and it runs back out when I tip the saw up on its end.
I blow it all out and it will pop but then it just floods again.
Going to strip the carb again. There is something very wrong.
But by the time I track down a carb kit for the Tilotson I may as well just buy a new Chinese carb and bolt it on. I need to order a chain adjuster anyway.
Will check it!The other thing with the Tillys is the nipple on the metering diaphragm must be hooked into the fulcrum lever for the inlet needle, it does not simply sit on top like a Walbro or Zama. It is also easy to miss on assembly, BELIEVE me!

Will check it!
I found a leaking welch plug in a 200t carb.....and the correct kit didn't have the right plug. That sucks. I sealed it with nail polish. Checking for leaking welch plugs is easy to do, and should be a habit on a carb rebuild. Who checks them, and what is your method?

+1I will from now on. But first I need to learn how...

Opened up the 268 carb.
Metering lever was really high and I think the diaphragm was not hooked to it.
Adjusted to where it should be and off she went.
IT'S ALIVE
No no no. I do that if the skidder is close by and I just threaded the needle with one of theseI held it to the sky and gave it a victory rev.
Something only people here would understand
