Are you pushing fuel through with the primer on the hot restarts or just pulling it over?
You going to make it to Steve's this fall too?

Only way to get them to restart usually is by priming again.
And yes I’ll likely be at Steve’s with a truck full of 044’s

The 500i has to pressurize liquid fuel with its fuel pump, and if the fuel in the tank is boiling, it’s being tasked with trying to pressurize a gas too.

It will only run if it’s got liquid being supplied to its fuel pump, not a combination of liquid and vapor

For the record, I don’t hate the 500i, and I definitely think it has its place. I have my own personal one that Kevin ported, and I love it. I just don’t think it’s the best option for what I do.

Well said. I have one Kevin ported and love running it. That said, I've had days where it hasn't ran right (wouldn't idle). The problem has been fuel related due to hot weather. And I don't fight fires with it...
