Engine is plated bore, and piston is NLA. Also, 80mm rings to run in a plated bore are impossible to find. So, a liner, and an Odyssey piston with a spacer under the jug is supposed to work.

You only get one shot at it. I'd take it to a machine shop. A local guy here has bored several cylinders for me and does it reasonable.

Every bore is going to have some taper.

Tool wear, interrupted cut etc. Best to check before you run outta stock.

Can't fix taper with a hone lol

Well, folks get carried away about stuff. Every saw the guy touched ain't junk cause of it. His port work looks better than mine.

Suggestion, this should get pinned, if it slips past the first Forum page it most likely will not be used for it's intended purpose.
It can easily get unpinned once the raffles end.

So, I just looked at the GFM donation page.
I can enter my name, last name, email address, comment, donation amount.
Then on the next page it is asking all my credit card info.
Has anyone from Europe used GFM before?
Is it safe, any additional charges to my card for the transfer?

I haven't fully figured out PayPal yet, and I generally don't use my credit card - that makes GFM a unknown area for me.

It does look simple enough.
Even the percentage to give to GFM is no obstacle.
One can choose "Other", then click on the stated amount and delete it making it 0%.

Well we got it home.......needs a coil, and a few things. The forks are a little bent.......looks like it was crashed many years ago, and then just shoved in a corner.

My ports are accurately placed, and shaped pretty well. But, I don't spend any time polishing stuff. I'm just of the opinion that it isn't needed.

Agreed. I was gonna try to port an aluminum head on a 22re Toyota engine. Figured I’d hack it up. I bailed on that idea. I hear yer ports are pretty though.
