Those of us who have done these raffles before realize the huge stress that it imposes on a person. It's not an easy task, and it's impossible to make everyone happy regardless of how hard you try.

We started this in a private conversation, and brought it to the public forum because someone who was hurt needed some help. The idea was to help someone, not because we expected to be rewarded, but because we had the extra resources, and wanted to unselfishly share what we were blessed with.

So.....I'm asking everyone including you to step back and chill out. Sherman AKA Liddle RowDidKnee is likely watching us act like children......I for one am ashamed that she is witness to this.

Absolutely...and also people should keep in mind those members who are either building a saw or offering a port job as a prize. Both of those prizes represent a lot of work on behalf of the member offering them. It's a not a casual thing at all...

I questioned the ‘anonymous’ thing one time yesterday, in the sense of fairness to all. But it has been discussed that even the organizer Scotty cannot ascertain who these ‘anonymous’ folks are and provide the right info, relating to the number of tickets to assign to these ‘anonymous’ folks. Explicit instructions were given as to what to put in the comment section concerning site name, physical name, etc. At least some way to identify yourself. It may very well have been a GFM platform issue because it varies some whether you’re looking at GFM via laptop/deaktop or smartphone (Android OS/ IOS), or smart tablets with either OS.

Let’s move the hell beyond this, learn a valuable lesson for the ones caught up in the ‘anonymous’ deal...and enjoy a damn raffle to help this young lady. Be done with the BS...the purpose was a helluva lot greater than any damn saw, item, or otherwise here.

My two pennies...if you don’t like it, pull your big boy panties up, eat a dick elsewhere other than looking for cheese in here to go with your whine!

The folks who offered their time to organize and help with the logistics of this...hand salute.
