Should definitely be louder.

What's an "Egan straight shot mod"? The BB cover?
It's just the cover. I removed the internal baffle too, yea it's loooud! Installed a mmws cross cylinder today, with OEM piston and rings after doing some exhaust port chamfering and squaring up the squish band by using the China piston with a piece of sand paper on the crown.
It runs real well so far in a test block, I have it only turning 12,300 right now.

Simple question about what's an 'Egan straight shot mod' and whether or not you're name is Egan.

Just curious. Didn't mean to create so much confusion! LOL

Those cross cylinders run decent after some work. Pretty flat exhaust roof and floor. I put one on a 064 and it was a hell of a runner.

Gotcha. See how easy that was? LOL

It looks like a WCS Bark Box cover.

Picked up this dirty gal yesterday, off a tree guy I buy saws off of when he gets new ones, most of his stuff still runs, just well used and dirty. This ones still a runner, piston still looks new.

I’m in the process of going through several bins of early 064/066 stuff. So far, a dozen or so cases or case half pairs, cylinders, a few decent pistons, lots of plastic, a few usable tanks, etc. so far, only a couple coils. 4 different carbs…Bing, Tilly and Walbros.
I’ll know more once I get everything pressure washed so I can see #s, damage, etc.
Gonna be asking a lot of questions in a while :p

I hope to be able to build several saws.
