Got these last weekend. Got em for next to nothing. Bought the 80 and 81 just as parts saws. The 80 is locked solid, but the 81 turns over good and feels like excellent compression. So, I think it may turn out to be a runner!Old photo, fond memories...

Hello all. Been reading on here awhile. Signed up a couple weeks ago. Thought id say hi. Several will recognize my name from another forum. Been a member there for several years. No issues i just got talked into this forum by edju1958 Im a saw user, mechanic, tinkerer, collector. I have nearly 35 macs from minis to 125,s. Ive used all of them. Have a few shelf queens but most are used from time to time. I love the 70cc and 82cc 10 series. Im more than willing to seek advice and offer help. I dont know it all and im always learning about these saws. Just wanted to say hello and thanks ed for talking me into it.
