I've got some great news - the PM6 that I was sure was stolen showed up today. My granddaughter came home from school today & said "there's a saw here".She was in my inner entryway when she said that.Apparently I set it there a couple of yrs.ago to take it out to the garage to work on & that's as far as it got.It got covered up with old shoes & junk.
Needless to say,I had to tear into it.It has good compression & good spark.I got it to run on a prime, but just couldn't draw fuel on it's own.I'll have to pull the carb & give it a rebuild.
Meanwhile I've been working on the other PM6 that I got almost 3 yrs.ago.I rebuilt the carb & had intentions of putting it on today, but they new found other PM6 took up my time.I did manage to clean & gap the points & I put the coil on temporarily to see if it had spark,it has good spark.
Tomorrow is another day.

Ed's PM310 got a little dirty today. I am always impressed with the way these little saws run and cut.

Ed - I'll contact you in the next few days to see how we want to finish sorting this out.

20211226_170108.jpg 20211226_170057.jpg Got these last weekend. Got em for next to nothing. Bought the 80 and 81 just as parts saws. The 80 is locked solid, but the 81 turns over good and feels like excellent compression. So, I think it may turn out to be a runner!
The 7-10 pulls over, but really stiff. I'll check it out when i get some time.
