And....people wonder where mag rot comes from. Did the chain still move? LolAt least this mess is wood chips.
Haha I don't remember. This was probably the worst one yet. It was clay that dried and hardened. Compressed air wasn't going to work lol.And....people wonder where mag rot comes from. Did the chain still move? Lol
Using the chainsaw as a lawnmower?

35 years ago I Welded a cam shaft in place overhead cam 4 cyl Chevy LUV. A year later he got a speeding ticket at 80 mph drove it for 3 years after I welded it then took it to our annual consignment sale and it sold to some unknown to me out of towner so I lost track of it.
Before I welded it I offered him scrap price for it because it was a 4WD. I Never expected it to hold long enough to get out of the driveway.
Not the saw....just the bar and chain. Four years ago my clean lil 260 ran off a few tanks in the lake. Yes I/we dropped a 30 ft pine tree top in the lake. Ground guy got bloody fingers, dummy. Some learn to listen about wraps on the bull line, some not, he quit, 260 was just fine. Kept the muffler out of the water. Looked like Shelby out there cutting Cyprus on Lake Pontitrain or sumtin like dat. That dude is afraid of lightning, lol. When you need to complete the job in order to get paid, the chainsaw is expendable. [emoji6]
That's even better than the five cylinder f150 that's been running around town.
(Early '80's straight 6 with the rod chopped off the big end and a bunch of steel wool/jb weld in the intake manifold runner and exhaust plugged on that cyl)

? What's your point ?Using the chainsaw as a lawnmower?
With my luck it would arc and blow the cans of ether burning the entire thing to the ground.

I put a nail in the timing gear of a 100.00
80s dodge colt
It had worked loose
And wallowed out the pin.
It had 100000 or so we drove it to 230000 and it was still running when we crushed it.
