My friend needed a cut off saw for a big concrete job they were doing he called bridgeport equipment
And they had a new stihl ts 700
He said I'll send a guy to get it.
I really don't know if they normally start them and check them like a regular dealer does or not.
But they didn't
And he had the helper get stihl mix oil and told him the gas is in the tool trailer on the jobsite.
Guy brings the saw back fills it up with the fresh mix
And it wouldn't begin to start
My friend call bridgeport and cussed the manager.
So they went back to cutting form boards with a old husky 240
The guy refills it and it stops running.
That's when my friend figured out the helper used
Off-road diesel to mix 5 gallons.
Man was he pissed It wasn't a good day
He told the helper not to come back for a few day's.
He got the ts700 running fine
I have the husky here it's really not worth messing with.

At least he caught it before dropping it back at the dealer. That convo would have been interesting... the phone call back from dealer could be the end of that relationship.

And the winner for Air Filter of the month is...

This was in a Briggs and Stratton 6HP Intek on a Yard Machines rear tine tiller. The debris was so packed in that the air filter cover was actually bulged out a little. What's more amazing is the thing actually ran, started on the first pull even.

This is my winner for carb of the month. I should of taken a picture of what came out of the fuel tank. It was about 95 percent water with 5 percent dead bugs and what looked like Vegetable oil floating on top.

A dirty filter cleans better than a clean filter, Remember that :D. I bet it started with out choke or primer.

This air filter didn't look that bad from above. What I found underneath the filter was just nasty. It was mostly dirt/sand with some sawdust mixed in.

@huskyboy machine is about 4 or 5 years old.

Took the blades off my ztr for a sharpening and they were in very good shape, original blades from 2003...
