I'm liking the specs on this saw! I hope the saw lives up to them!
That and hope we actually see it this year!!

Road trip to Germany?
No. They like to see what we can do with them. Look at the numbers from a 661 bone stock nowIs it just me or does anyone else think it will have some kind of tamper proof bs on it to keep us hillbillys from dicking with it?
I don't think that's what this saw is all about. I'm betting it's gonna be an awesome 20-24" bar saw. Maybe 28" light but even a 661 doesn't feel right with anything longer than 28 IMHO. They get real nose heavy. At 13.2 lbs I doubt it's going to balance a huge bar well. Im anxious to get my paws on one though. I'm thinking the 362 is now obsolete for anything other than it's cheaper. Weights are very similar and this is 1.5hp more.i will run a 462 against my 064
both with 32'' full comp 3/8 8 pin
I wanted to have a 461 ported might hold off until mastermind gets a hold of one of these. These really might get launched this fall?

The 362 Ver II is only 12.5 lbs, so there will still be a place for it. Also, the one Randy ported for me (a Ver I saw) pulls a 20" bar very nicely. I'm shocked how much difference changing the air filter made (as opposed to just cleaning it).
That said, the 462 sounds very exiting, and seems like it will be hard to beat as an all around saw.
