Put fresh front tires on the one tractor. Then disked the garden. Put the sickle bar mower on and did the road frontages. Moved a bunch of tractor parts into storage. Nap time now. Midnight shift sucks.



And drank three quarts of Gatorade. Mite warmish.

Went to the Webster Springs WV Wood Chopping Festival. Great time. Never seen so many 3120s in the same place. @wildroamer were you there? There was a guy there that looked exactly like your avatar.

Went cutting with my two youngest boys, and a couple of guys from church. We were at a Church Girls Camp cutting all of the firewood for the summer. It was in the High 60's at around 7500' in elevation.

Watched the sunset over Key West, FL while touring a U.S. Coast Guard Cutter. A newer ship with all the bells and whistles like remotely fired deck gun, computerized engine monitoring system that can tell the temp of each main bearing, etc. It was pretty cool. Now in the morning we head back to reality.

Trying to get the lawnmower running. I counted about four mistakes I made in adjusting the valves. Didn't torque down the rocker arm set screw very much, didn't put sealant on both sides of the reused valve cover gasket, forget to run the motor and check valves before sealing valve cover gasket... And I have forgotten what the last one was!!!

Did the trimming too, but I am changing what I am doing. Getting ready to spray a bunch of stuff I used to weed eat.

Spent the morning fixing a problem with my pool!

This afternoon I drove my oldest son up to our church camp where he works for the summer. The camp took down about 30 trees this year. I volunteered to cut some up for camp fire wood. The camp director told my son tell your dad to feel free to cut and take all he wants! It's a little far to haul and my truck is down right now. I did however take my hybrid with me today just in case I felt like doing some cutting and I did! Got up to the pile of logs and spotted some Ash, Red Oak and some Cherry. There was also a very large chunk of pine that I had to take a cookie off of.

After cutting some oak and cherry rounds I thought...should I fill the back of the van? Will my wife find out? Don't tell her! Well the smell was awesome on the ride home!

Got the kennel ready for a litter of pups that's due in a couple weeks. Did some tree trimming with the 353. Planted a little oak tree in the front yard and did a little gardening.
