Next to my bench at the shop, Oregon
Worked, and then installed a "new" idler arm on my GMC cause the old was was no longer and idler arm. Helped the wandering alot, but steering still has it's own mind sometimes. lol Ah well, 50 year old truck...what'd ya expect. Still drives real nice and I love cruising the back roads on a nice cool evening with it.

After work sharpened a Dolmar/Oregon loop and a TriLink loop, then bucked up about 5 cubic meters of oak and hornbeam logs at my neighbor's.
Two other neighbor's helped clearing the log pile and splitting/chopping the cut rounds.
At the end of the day everything was done, just stacking the firewood remains.

I used my Dolmar PS-7900! :)

Multiflora rose?
Yes. The goats do a pretty good job on it. But I pulled everything off this paddock before the grass got ate down to much. It will come back but as tender little shoots. They will annihilate it then.

Today I did all the stuff I didn't get done yesterday because I was sick. So I put in an extra long day and made pretty good progress. Put a "for rent" sign in front of the house we're working on this afternoon and had six calls on it by this evening. This is pretty impressive since it's on a dead end street. I made some sparks and arcs discovering that there were two power feeds into the outlet box I was working on. Blew two breakers... Got that all sorted out. trimmed and hung a couple of doors, moved my Altec chipper to another site, discovered that out of well over 100 outlet and switch covers I have, I need to go to Home Depot to get the right ones... A good friend and neighbor died so that's sorta a bummer. He owned the airstrip our hangars are on.

Today I ordered my Kombi System. KM94R motor unit, cultivator and string trimmer. Will pick it up tomorrow morning.

Talked to my dealer about the different power units and he said frankly for what I am going to use it for I could buy the cheapest one and he wouldn't let me by the KM130.. too much extra weight and way over kill for my use. He's seen my yard so I trust his advice. As a salesperson myself I often say "My job is to sell you things, if I am telling you to spend less and buy the cheaper option you should probably listen."

Cut a locust down last year due to it starting to make big nasty thorns. The locust next to it made thorns this year...

So down it comes before its allowed to get all covered in thorns. Base was about 30in diameter.

Should be good firewood, and the saw did great! Think it needs a little more fuel at idle. Sometimes dies if you let off the trigger after long hard cuts. Little tuning and a MM and it should be a good runner!
