Made a solvent filter for a parts washer. Where I work they used them at one time. I found some of the tubes in a cabinet, that someone removed from the old ones that were dirty. Think they were available from ZEP.
Searched online, they cost about $130. It uses diatomaceous earth for the filter media. I had some canvas, web, and a sewing machine, so I put one together. Used oil dry from NAPA, $15. It works really well! Removes particles & oil.

I installed a temporary tube to try it out, I once found a similar Gedore ratchet but it has room for 2 balls in the head

Had a look at the loose exhaust on my ms200. Does anyone know what bolts I need to get to hold it on? One bolt is missing and the other appears to be sheared off.

12.9 standard, 15mm. I believe. However, get some spring washers as they will help hold those bolts. I use them on all the Stihl top-handles I rebuild now. a dab of red, hi-temp Loctite won't hurt.

First off today someone dropped these off wanting to get the chains sharpened before the weekend.

I had to take a break from that task to pick up a couple of saws I won in a location on line auction.

With the saws in the shop and the chains sharpened and minor repairs on the Homelite XL-2 finished I finished cleaning up the SP125C project, not good...

At that point someone came it with the Husqvarna 240 that would not run. Carburetor kit and fuel lines seemed to resolve that one.

Came home from work, PM shift.
I am boiled, I feel as if my skin is separating from my muscles.

Went on a midnight stroll with the pup, we just came back home.
I thought the walk would cool me off - nope! 🥵

We are experiencing up to 40+°C/104+°F for about a month now.
I am so sick of it!
I want the freezing cold!

At least the "greens" finally started to burn!
I must have mowed my yard at least a dozen times this year already. 🤬
I can't recall spending this much fuel in a summer season like EVER!!!

We had a lot of humidity (but barely any precipitations) all spring and summer, which is what kept the "greens" alive - morning dew!
But with night temperatures no longer dropping under 24°C there is no dew no more and the day heat just scorches everything.

This was the other day just shy of 1PM, it topped out at 42.6°C that day.

Looks like what I used to get on a stick from the street vendors in Mexico. I would add some mayo, paprika and queso fresco crumbles.
