i repaired a pincture hole in a gas can with some of that UV activated epoxy like the dentist uses. so far it has held up. i do try to keep it out of direct sunlight, but i dont think it matters after it has been activated. i just do it just in case

I have patched a chain cutter puncture hole in one of my oil canisters by dripping burning hot molten HDPE on it, the canister is HDPE too.
First patch attempt did not hold, I was too careful and did not get the canister plastic hot enough to "burn out" oil contaminants so the plastics did not bond.
On my second attempt I melted an even bigger hole through but managed to close it up and get the patch to boil/bubble.

Disclaimer:
This is a 2 liter B&C oil canister, no pressure other than gravity and handling.

I have 5 or 6 of the older ones but not a fan of the newer ones, the spout/lock ring don't fit very good. I started buying the white/clear 5 gallon VP Racing knock offs from Rural King. damn near 1/3 of the price of a No-Spill.
Figures…cause I don’t have a rural king near me. Doesn’t seem to be much available these days for a reasonably priced fuel jug worth a darn.

I gave this thing a break-in, cookie cutting semi dry turkey oak.
She doesn't like it!
Not my unit! ;)

Came with a full chisel chain, didn't cut my dry oak logs worth poop.

Does OK after grinding, cutters were different length.
Still bogs down the saw though.

I ground 3 .325" and 3 3/8" LP loops this PM while heat cycling that blue thing.

Fresh dressed pink/salmon wheel takes a nice clean bite creating next to no blueing.

Replaced my Sierra shocks with almost 182k. Bump stops had a little wear too. The secondary catch wouldn’t release the spare so that’s all getting replaced too. I had to unbolt the hoist to get the spare off.

More nudging stuff out of the way !! I had my way with some brush first.

Then started on reshaping this ditch. I’d like to be able to mow it for hay when I’m done. Plus it needs to be more of a swale than a ditch as an irrigator needs to go through here soon.

Good ole 750
The hours meter shows 3,823.9 but it hasn’t worked since we got it and the previous and original owner said it quit working loooooooong ago. He estimated it had around 20,000hrs when I got it and I’ve put an easy 1,000+ on it. I moved 40,000yds of dirt for my chicken barn with it and a 9yd scraper, did the dirt work for two steer barns, farm shop, my house and countless ditch projects over the years. I love this thing !!

Got rid of 3 repaired saws today 😁
Owner picked up 2, one gets shipped in the morning.
Neighbor…certified but retired welder…welded up 3 broken cylinder fins…still on the saw 😳. All electrics removed or disconnected, lots of cool down procedures…he’d done this before :p

The 750 is a solid machine. It was the first "modern" dozer I ran back in the mid 1980s. It had a full glass cab which quicky went away as in the brush that was not good but yes pushing spoil bank in January urt was. I just played on it in the brush though.
