today i have spent way too much time looking for my small bottle of machine oil that is not sitting on the shelf where it goes.....i could have just gone and got more and saved myself far more in time than the cost to just buy more

I have done that too, as well as can't find something, go buy another and come home and find what I was looking for.

Me too buddy. Once I changed oil in my old truck was getting ready to put the oil cap back on, looked for 10 minutes and couldn't find it. Took the wife's car to the parts store to buy one
Got home and there it laid on top of the engine in plain sight right where I put it.

Wow $14K for concrete? I need to make a few calls as prices must have dropped a lot
Mud is $200/yd and was around $160 last summer. When I did the chicken barn in 2018 the floor (485yds) was a shade under $50k. $200/yd seems like insanity to me already !!

i want a shed like that
It’s a Morton building circa 1993ish. It’s been a great structure so far !!

Around here it's $200/yard plus $200 for finishing.
$200/yd here as well. I’ve got a couple cousins that do our finishing work for beer and beef. No idea what it actually costs as I’ve never hired finishing work out.

Well at $200 a yard you cannot touch a 60x180 for $14k😀

Ran these 2 jewels a bit today.
Poulan 3300 (18"/54cc I have 3) & Shindaiwa 695 (18"/68cc I have 3).
Just so I could cook some "Baked Beans"!😁
White Oak & Cherry.
I'm all about refining the baked bean recipe...
I got it down pretty good!😎

Only 48x80 left to concrete lol. Shoulda mentioned that earlier 😂

Even doing it all today it’d be under $40k with rebar and such. That’d take a lot of beer and a bunch of beef though lol.

This is a small part of why I've given up on trying to fix any project-saws. I dont have enough space to have my tools, especially hand tools, sorted and organized. It takes me 5-10 minutes to find anything EVERY TIME i need anything cause all I can do is rearrange and move stuff around.

Hopefully in a year or two I'll have a nice, new, small shop. But the woodshed comes first, as i spend/waste the same amount of time messing with tarped wood.

I organized my tailgate collection, realized a scrap snowblower I have fires right up and might become a long splitter, got tired of cleaning my hoarder yard and tried buffing my hoopty headlights instead of cleaning up. Need to find a truck load of stuff to haul to the monthly auction before I’m on hoarders.3C0D6B9B-CDF3-4247-920A-89E9A7D0204D.jpeg

I am not sure what the current price is here but I am betting at least $150 to $175 and possibly higher. It is all owned by a monopoly and they chit on small folks
