friend of my parents gave me this old 72" work bench & small wilton vise that came out of a shop in Baltimore County. filled it up rather quickly but it freed up some space on one of my steel racks in the other bay.

but then it turned into tearing my whole garage apart, cleaning (much needed), moving stuff around & reorganizing for the last 6 hours. I hate having OCD.

Formed an area ready in a shed for some concrete.

The skiddy is sitting on concrete and we’re connecting the two slabs. I plan to put some large tanks on the new pad to be used for water and liquid fertilizer. Pretty excited for this to be done so I can fill it with stuff !!

Sure it is !! Shed keep things dry !! This one is only a 60x180.

We got the mud laid yesterday !! Guy backed right in and started dumping. There is a heated space in the one side that we used as a farm shop for quite some time.

Mud is down !! Planning to put some water tanks, pallet racking and my inductor cone setup for my sprayer on here. Pretty stoked !!

Why only part of it, and not all of it? Money? Nice shed by the way.

Thanks !! Money sort of but mostly it’s all that needed to be concrete for now. I plan to put a pair of cone bottom tanks and some pallet racking on it.

These tanks …..

There was a concrete patch in the East part already as we used to use this shed as a hay shed and this kept the skid loaders from rutting the dirt up.
IMG_1115.jpeg

This half-ish was concreted out when we built a little warm space in one chunk before I had the shop at my place. Having some dirt in a mostly storage shed is okay with us. I may concrete it all one day but using today’s numbers it’d be around $14k for concrete plus rebar and a bunch of lunches to buy for neighbors for their help when we pour.

Wow $14K for concrete? I need to make a few calls as prices must have dropped a lot

Around here it's $200/yard plus $200 for finishing.
That is my point exactly............. $14K is cheap. I understand that was just material but still cheap. I am about to call a paving contractor out west about saws and I will ask him what it is like out there
