i tell the warranty companies that i either have a 1929 ford or a 2020 ferarri works every time
They always know the year, make, and model of the cars I own when they call. I tell them I lit the car on fire to cash in on the insurance. When they hear that, they go silent.

we grew broccoli last year and it was good, it took up way too much space and attracted plant eating worms and bugs. one of our neigbors said he grows it in the fall and into winter because it is past when the bugs and worm are growing. i have walla walla sweet onions growing this year. im excited to see how well they turn out. i spent 2 and got about 30 plants growing

Broccoli does well if you do 2 things: Spray it with that organic stuff (HD sells it) you mix with water to stop the caterpillars and install a solar electric fence to stop the woodchucks.

Doing those 2 things made a huge difference for me.

The woodchucks can wipe you out in a day, and will go over or under a fence, and no one likes finding those caterpillars in their broccoli!

Well, not today but yesterday!
Patched another twister damaged roof of ours.
Had to source some materials first.
Nobody has anything (free) left, everything is picked clean, I took scraps and we made it work.
We did a overlapping puzzle thing to close that gap.

Listed a 2003 372oe on marketplace, local person calls and says he would like to look at it, come on over, be there within the hour. 15 minutes later gentleman calls and says he wants it, he would be driving some distance. Tell him I will call him back if first guy does not take it. Wait 2 hours and guy is no show, call second guy and he will be leaving his house within 10 minutes. First guy calls and says he is on his way, explained it is sold, he is local tree service. Gentleman shows up on time and purchases saw, states he is taking down 4 large trees and has hired tree service in my area. Take a guess who he has hired?

Finished mowing the lawn.
Fighting the Whitethorn hedge now, 2/3 done, then collecting the thorny crap.
I hate hedges!

Battery powered Makita hedge trimmer/cutter can barely cut the Whitethorn saplings.
It takes the big 600Watt 220Volt China made Einhell trimmer to go through the branches, and even it will occasionally slip the overload clutch.
F-ing Whitethorn!!!

Whitethorn is the Hydra of plants!
Cut off its top and it will create half a dozen new branches, then repeat!
You end up with "crowns" so big You have to cut them out with a chainsaw.

One thing is for certain, NO ONE will dare try crawl through a Whitethorn hedge!
